Senior year is amazing, but dang it is so stressful. We have so much to do including this senior project. It is not a difficult assignment but it is time consuming and a bit fun. I think that I will be fine presenting because I am not a shy person and I enjoy talking in front of people. However I am scared not to pass just because something isn't good enough or if i'm just not good enough. All I can control is do what is required and knock it out of the park when I present. I love talking about my life because I have done so much and am very proud of it. I had a great football career in high school, done amazing volunteer work, have done fun things with my friends, done a lot of things in ASB, and many other things. Senior year has just been great and I just cant wait to graduate.

So first semester of my senior year has ended and so far it has been pretty great but super stressful. I did not know that applying to colleges and making sure everything with the colleges is up to date, was going to be such a hassle. Not to mention FASFA, SAT, ELM, living decisions, deciding which college to go to, solar ships, finances, grants, EOP, and other. So as you can see first semester of senior year is kicking my butt. But I am on pace on all my classes, even had to pull an all nighter just to be on pace in one. This just showed me that I can and will graduate on time with honor. My senior year of football was great, made it on the news paper about 5 times and had a great pre-season. However towards the end of the season I got hurt and missed my last homecoming game. Also I got ejected my senior night and was unable to play my last bell game ever. All this killed me and I can truly say I was depressed for about 3 weeks. But this did make me stronger and more mindful about how and who I truly am, I pushed threw went to practice regardless and didn't look back. What was done was done and it just made me a stronger person, by showing me that when life brings you down you have to get back up. So that's how my season went.
Now that I am half way though my senior year I am realizing the people I am close to now may not be as close to me no more as I prepare myself to leave for college. For example I am super close to my teacher Joe Traeger. He has always been there for me and was actually the first teacher I met in high school. I also have a group of friends that I consider my brothers and I am so scared to know that I am not going to see them everyday no more, to know that we are all going to create our new lives without each other. It truly is a sad fact but I learned that it is life. Also I have a best friend that I grew to love so much, she is always there for me and it is sad to say that we might be going to different schools next year. I also have a girl friend that is scared to death that I am going to meet someone else but we decided if it is met to be it is met to be. All I can do is spend as much time as I can with all these wonderful people before we all go our separate ways. Up next graduation, I am so excited to graduate because I feel like i am ready to start my new life as an adult. So far my senior year has been good to me. I know I am still in the beginning of it, however my classes are outstanding. I have a mix of challenging classes and relaxing classes. For example my challenging classes are physiology, AP Spanish literature, English, and economics. My so called relaxing classes are tutoring for US history, fitness training 2, and leadership. All these classes are great in my opinion because yes they all require a lot but I am able to manage and have some flexibility in schedule which means less stress.
We all know junior year is the most demanding but I did it and completed all my classes to keep myself on pace. I’m on pace to graduate and on pace to go to a university. I’m on pace because I like to think of myself as a hard worker and a dedicated young man. I do my work for the most part in class but it took a lot of work at home, staying after school, and even going before school. I worked hard an sure enough I am in my senior year and on pace to graduate. As we all know a requirement to graduate is to pass your senior exit interview. I am currently working on my journals and have finished my pathway section and my about me section as well. I still need to finish my senior writing and my exit interview power point. So far so good, and hope to finish soon. It’s scary to think that I’m going to college soon and that I have to enter the real world now. However I choose to live in the moment and one thing I am looking forward to my senior year is my senior year of football and basketball. I live for sports and I am so excited to see how I do and how the team does my senior year. Hello I am currently a junior at Lindsay High School and I am reaching the end of the school year. Senior year is approaching and I am a tad bit nervous but ready. Junior year has been a mission with hard courses that challenged me to the max. AP US history was so difficult, I am struggling a lot, however I am on pace to finish at the end of the year. I stay after school and come before school to finish work. A lot of the time I come in here to get pointers on how to better my assignments. Another hard course this year was trigonometry. Man it was so hard to stay on pace but I payed attention did my work and got through it. I also may have gone to my math class before school some days to understand the content more. Junior year has been a challenge academically. Another challenging but rewarding part of my junior year was athletics. Football was amazing, I had a tough season but a season of football is always rewarding enough. I received the offensive MVP award and was super proud of that. However during this season I had a major injuring to my knee and was unable to play basket ball, which killed me inside. Junior year was hard but I am really looking forward to my senior year. Looking forward to getting new classes, applying to college, my senior football season, the senior activities, and most importantly graduation.
