Hello my name is Salvador Rivera, and I am a senior at Lindsay High School. I am 18 years old and the oldest of 3. I have a younger sister who is 17 and is currently a junior at Lindsay High. I also have a younger brother who is 6 years old that is in kindergarten. I have a very strong bond with both my siblings and it kills me to leave them next year when I am off to college. My plans after high school are to go to Fresno State and pursue my dream of becoming a physical therapist. I will be majoring in kinesiology and hopefully getting my bachelors of science. A big part of my life has been football hands down. I have been playing football for 8 years and it has been an amazing journey. Countless hours of grinding, countless stressful moments, and countless moments of joy. I can not imagine my life without football, it seriously consumed me and changed my life. Football has influenced my life so much that it is one of the reasons I want to become a physical therapist. In football I was constantly getting injured, so bad one time that I had to see a physical therapist. I loved what my physical therapist did and I would always ask her questions. Right then and there I knew I could do that for the rest of my life. As you can see football was amazing to me and will hopefully continue blessing me. In high school I created friendships that are truly unbreakable. My friends are so close to me that I can call them my brothers and know that they will always be there for me not matter what. I also have a best friend that has been there for me through thick and thin and I cant picture my life with out her. All in all I have and amazing family, a life changing hobby, and life lasting friendships. You can say my life has been good to me and is great at the moment.
